MANSFIELD HOUSING GROUP
Welcome to Mansfield Housing Group, the local operator and manager of independent, assisted and memory care communities based in Essex, Vermont. In the ever-changing marketplace for senior living, our goal is to meet or exceed the needs of the diverse population we serve, whether a resident simply needs a delicious chef prepared meal because they choose not to cook or whether a family requires a secure and safe environment for their Mother who suffers from the early stages of dementia. We strive to meet an individual’s personal needs no matter what they desire or require with ranges of choices and options.
OUR MISSION
The mission for our organization is to provide our residents along with their families the support they need in order to live fulfilling lives. We develop, build and operate quality communities with an array of services to meet the various needs of our residents. Based in Vermont, our knowledge of the greater Burlington area allows for a greater understanding of the local market’s desires so that we better meet the needs than larger regional or national providers.

OUR TEAM
President, Robert Murano, Jr.
Rob has spent the past thirty-five years in the housing and management arena with the past twenty years developing, acquiring, managing and marketing independent and assisted living communities throughout New England. For the past eleven years, he was the Chief Operating Officer for a company that managed 8 communities in northern New England (4 in Vermont) including Mansfield Place Assisted Living where he was involved throughout the pre-development, construction and operational start. Rob’s expertise in all facets of the operation allows for support to be provided wherever it is required. Further, his ability in attracting local professionals for management teams contributes greatly to the success of the communities that are managed.
Vice President, Brian Cogswell
Brian has over 30 years of experience in operating, maintaining and overseeing the physical plant of managed properties, including Mansfield Place Assisted Living and prior to that 8 assisted living communities in northern New England for 15 years. Prior to working in assisted living, he was involved with government-subsidized low income housing for seniors and families for many years. In addition, Brian has experience in the food service industry which allows him to support the food service functions at the community level.

Mansfield Place is a 100-unit assisted living community located in Essex, Vermont that opened in 2014. It includes 79 studio, one and two bedroom assisted living apartments and The Village, a secure 21-unit memory care area for people with dementia and memory issues. Common areas include a living room, lounge, dining room, private dining room, country kitchens, exercise room, spa rooms and a large multi-purpose room. The location is in close proximity to shops, restaurants and places of interests and offers views of Mt Mansfield and Camel’s Hump in the distance. Residents enjoy chef prepared meals, active life enrichment programing, weekly housekeeping, personal care assistance, medication management, scheduled transportation, nightly happy hours, underground parking and an array of special events that keep its residents engaged and entertained.

Williston Place is a 72-unit 55+ independent senior living community that is located in historic Williston, Vermont that offers an enriching lifestyle with a full palette of senior living amenities and engaging opportunities. It includes studio, one and one bedroom with den apartments that feature full kitchens, living areas and bedrooms, private bathrooms with washer/dryers in each unit. Williston Place is a rental community that provides one chef-prepared meal daily, 24-hour security, housekeeping services, concierge services, life enrichment programs, wellness programs, scheduled local transportation, underground parking and all utilities except for phone and cable. The community also features many common areas including a living room, dining room, private dining room, pub, card room, group movement studio and fitness room.
